The Barn at Thunder Road Farm, 1231 Thunder Rd, Arlee, MT 59821
Join us in the raspberry patch at Thunder Road Farm for a brunch built entirely from the surrounding landscape. Every component of the menu is sourced from the immediate area and prepared to highlight the flavors of this valley at their peak.
Listen to live music while you wander through the rows of raspberries with the Mission mountains as your backdrop. Build your own tartines and small bites from a spread of ember-baked biscuits, fresh ricotta, smoked trout pâté, roasted vegetables, fermented pickles, and doughnuts glazed with raspberry and juniper. French toast sticks made from our own doughnuts are fried to order, and a self-serve coffee bar features syrups made from local honey, juniper, and doughnut caramel.
It’s a slow, generous morning in the field — a chance to taste early summer through the ingredients that grow, graze, and ferment right here.
ABOUT THE CHEF:
Chef Jason’s cooking journey has taken him from smoky barbecue pits in the Southeast to award-winning coastal kitchens in the Pacific Northwest, gathering stories, techniques, and a deep respect for the people behind the food. Those years, those miles, and the lessons tucked inside them now converge here in Montana. My Neighbor’s Farm is a community-rooted culinary project built on craft, connection, and the belief that good food is a shared language. At My Neighbor's Farm, Jason is known for his meticulous, three-day doughnut process: a slow, intentional fermentation that transforms simple ingredients into something layered, expressive, and unmistakably place-driven. That same care shapes everything he cooks, from farm dinners to market mornings, always honoring local growers and the rhythms of the season. Brambles + Brunch brings that philosophy straight into the raspberry patch at Thunder Road Farm. It’s a celebration of Montana fruit, neighborly tables, and the kind of food that tastes like where it was grown. For Jason, this event isn’t just about showcasing technique—it’s about gathering people, telling stories, and being part of a community that makes the work worth doing.
ABOUT THE MUGS:
